Pardee Homes' Homeward Bound Program is First Step in Overcoming Home Buying Obstacles
Pardee's Homeward Bound program helps home buyers take an important step towards overcoming obstacles to home ownership. This free program includes a free initial credit analysis and may include budgeting assistance, a savings plan and credit repair.
SAN DIEGO, CA, September 11, 2011 /Personal Finance PR News/ -- Clearing the path to home ownership is the first-step in buying a home for many of today's home shoppers, and Pardee Homes' Homeward Bound is a program designed to make that happen. Obstacles like poor credit, no credit, foreclosures, high debt ratios and an inconsistent employment history are hurdles that can put the dream of home ownership just out of reach.
"These types of obstacles can make it difficult to qualify for a loan, but there are solutions, and one way is to participate in Pardee's HomewardBound program," said Gary Probert, Vice President of Sales for Pardee Homes. "This is a free program available for Pardee Homes' homebuyers and can be easily put into action by visiting one of our sales offices or calling our online sales counselors. These experts in the field can help clear the path to homeownership and provide the kind of support you may not get with a credit repair agency."
The first step in the Homeward Bound program is a free initial credit analysis. With that in hand, a program can be created that may include budgeting assistance, a savings plan, credit enhancement or repair, and if needed, the assistance of an independent, third party credit advisor who can help the buyer maximize their credit score and correct reported errors. Statistically, buyers who work with eCredit Advisor see a 30 to 80 point increase in their FICO score in a span of two to five months; with a three-cycle program there is currently an average increase of 64 points on a mid-credit score
HomewardBound can help a home shopper establish a program for regular savings to help them reach the down payment needed to qualify for a mortgage or provide a fresh approach to a disciplined budget that may be the key to getting their credit where it needs to be to buy a home. Some services require a small fee which is reimbursable at the close of escrow.
"The power of HomewardBound is that we have been able to make our buyers believe in themselves enough so they can buy a new home," said Linda Butterworth, Pardee Homes Sales Counselor. "Our role is to make the whole buying process come together and we can do whatever is necessary for our buyers, including helping them fix erroneous or derogatory credit. We are leaders in getting them through the process, opening the door to guide them to the keys to their new front door. I am personally so pleased that Pardee has started the Homeward Bound program which allows nearly everyone the opportunity for home ownership."
